    One of my favorite comics artists is Lucas Werneck and I am trying to learn his style, especially for his use of bright colors and vibrant lighting. Im working on a gambit piece I drew and I am not sure how to properly balance the highlights and shadow colors on a character with predetermined color (Gambit is an established character, not one I made up).

    Does it help to have thin "ink lines"? My style right now relies on heavier lines, but should that change to better accommodate better colors?

    • @colorwithkurt
      @colorwithkurt 6 днів тому

      Does it help what? :) It doesn't matter what style you draw in. Certain coloring styles might lend themselves to certain art styles but there's no right answer.

    Thank you so much! This is not only going to make comics easier to make, but also to make coloring pages easier and relaxing (as well as saving money, so that I don't have to buy a coloring book app when I already have Procreate). ^^

    If you needed to make multiple images for a comic that needed multiple posed setups, what would be the best workflow? Like, multiple cameras in the map or lighting or etc

    Feeling really stupid… when I select the masked layer three fingers down and paste, it makes another layer above, not shown on your video…. Ahh… I’m so close.
